2020-06-11 wont install ?

I get this error when trying to install ?

2nd attempt after partial uninstall yielded this
install error 2.jpg
3rd attempt seemed to go ok...although havent tried to connect yet

My desktop PC went ok...laptop had the issues.

A bit late to the party with this but I had the same issue; seemed that I had an existing instance of Scal running, and the network server.
Once they were closed all was well.

Worth noting that on my laptop....it would not communicate with an ecu after I installed, but one install attempt did say the comms drivers had failed.
So I re-installed an older version, it communicated, and then I tried again to install the new version, and then it communicated.
No idea what's going on, as never had issues like that before with any other install.

Bumping this again.
Strangely in order to use this version, every time I boot up the laptop I need to install the software again otherwise it will not find or connect to the ecu
