There is a manufacturing error in all loom adapters made by JTi for Syvecs, relating to the "comms" connector. For all looms fitted with the grey or white connector that carries RS232 and, in most cases, CAN bus, the RS232 TX and RX pins are reversed. This really only affects anyone using a standard Toucan cable with the modem-type connector on the cable, and needing to use RS232 rather than CAN bus.
The solution is to swap the RS232 TX and RX pins - I can provide the necessary information to sort this if needed.
Since this came to light, I have started attaching a "JT Innovations" sticker to the comms connector: if your loom adapter has the sticker, it is wired right: if not, it is wrong!
