Audi 1.8T
I have a Syvecs S6 ECU which has previously been setup to run a Z20LER vauxhall 2.0T engine. The setup was refined over years by Sam initially and Ryan more lately. This ECU is now going into my Lotus Elise with a 1.8T AMK Audi/seat engine in. My question is, would it be better to start from a base 1.8T map or tweak the existing refined map to suit the new engine? Both are DBW setups.

Re: Audi 1.8T
Other than both being 4 cylinders...ever part of the engines will be totally different.
From sensors, triggers, injectors, actuators, DBW unit etc etc
It would make far more sense to start with an engine as close as possible to your build that a totally different one

That makes perfect sense. Ryan will be mapping it when i have installed it, so he will prob take that route.
